Gallery made virtually every first all-America team and was named the Big Ten’s Offensive Lineman of the Year. He is expected to be chosen in the top ten of this year’s NFL draft.

Gallery and his fellow seniors completed their careers as Iowa Hawkeyes with victories in 21 of their final 26 games, Top 10 rankings in each of his final two seasons and with a 37-17 victory over Florida in the 2004 Outback Bowl on Jan. 1 in Tampa. It was Iowa’s first victory in a January bowl game since the 1959 Rose Bowl victory over California.
