Junior Kenny Linn and sophomores Michael Reavis and Michael McNamara represented the Hawkeyes at the USAG Winter Cup. Iowa’s top finish was Reavis’ tie for 12th on floor with a 9.15.

On the still rings, Linn tied for 24th with a score of 8.825. “Linn did a pretty good job on rings,” said head coach Tom Dunn. “He went early on though, and that hurt him.”

Reavis tied for 13th on vault, scoring a 9.4. McNamara tied for 26th on the same event. In the all-around, Reavis placed 42nd with a 49.2 as the Hawkeyes’ top finisher. McNamara tied for 61st with an all-around score of 46.65.

“We had trouble adjusting to the non-college, non-team situation,” said Dunn. “It was disappointing.”

The Hawkeyes will compete next when they host Illinois February 21 beginning at 2 p.m.
