Hawkeyes Ninth After Day Three

MINNEAPOLIS, MN

— The University of Iowa women’s swimming team is currently in ninth place at the 2004 Big Ten Championships. Indiana leads with Penn State and Michigan close.

The 400-medley relay team of Jennifer Skolaski, Kristen Eide, Kelly Werner and Katie Haeger put up an Iowa season best of 3:48.85, putting them in tenth place. Werner also scored points for the Hawkeyes on her own, placing 13th in the 100-back with a season best 56.85.

Saturday’s preliminary events will start at 11 a.m., and the finals will begin at 7 p.m.
