Klami Named All Big Ten

IOWA CITY, IA – University of Iowa diver Timo Klami earned second team all-Big Ten this weekend in West Lafayette, IN at the Big Ten Championships. This marks the second time that former Big Ten champion Klami has received all conference honors.

The junior from Nodeland, Norway, recorded strong performances in all three of his diving events. Klami placed in the top six of all three diving competitions. He opened up the tournament with a third place finish in the one-meter event, after posting a score of 329.10. In the second day of competition Klami recorded a score of 608.15 in the three-meter competition. His performance earned him second place, the highest finish of any Hawkeye. The final day of competition saw Klami cap off a solid weekend of competition. Klami placed sixth in the platform diving competition with a score of 410.45.

Klami will next compete in the NCAA Diving Qualifier in Bloomington, IN on March 12-14.
