The University of Iowa women’s golf team shot an 18-hole total of 315 to tie for seventh on the first day of the Baylor-Tapatio Springs Shootout. The Hawkeyes shot 27 over par as a team.
Leading the Hawkeyes is Amy Riepma. Riepma is tied for 16th with a score of 76. Shannon Fleming is tied for 27th, scoring a 78. Tied for 40th for the Hawkeyes is Liz Bennett, shooting a 79. With a score of 82, Laura Holmes is tied for 66th. Karla Murra is tied for 94th, shooting an 86. Jennifer Reints is tied for 98th and Lauren Cole is tied for 111th.
The second round of the Baylor-Tapatio Springs Shootout starts tomorrow at 7:30 a.m.
