Iowa Finishes Day One in Ninth at Pepsi-Cola Invite

Pottsboro, TX – The Iowa men’s golf team is currently in ninth place after day one of the Pepsi-Cola Invitational. The Hawkeyes have a team score of 630 after the first two rounds of play.

Leading the way for the Hawkeyes is senior Cade Pleggenkuhle. Pleggenkuhle had a two-round total of 155 (+11) which puts him tied for 15th. Erik Feldick, is carded a 156 (+12) today, tying him for 20th. Andy Tiedt is tied for 30th after his first day total of 159 (+15). Todd Larson is tied for 36th with 160 (+16), and Bennet Hammerberg scored a 166 (+22) for the Hawkeyes, putting him in 49th place.

Tomorrow’s final round tee times will begin at 8 a.m.
