Friends and fans of the Iowa Hawkeyes will celebrate history while watching the Coach Kirk Ferentz’s 2004 Hawkeyes make some six Saturday afternoons next fall inside historic Kinnick Stadium.
The 2004 Iowa football schedule opens Sept. 4 with a date against Kent State. That afternoon the Hawkeyes will go back in time as the University of Iowa stages its version of the “Throwback Game” made popular by the NFL and Major League Baseball. The 2004 Hawkeyes will wear uniforms that will remind fans and friends of the Hawkeyes of a day gone by.

Iowa’s non-conference schedule also includes the annual battle for college football bragging rights. Iowa State will visit Kinnick Stadium on Sept. 11.
The Hawkeyes’ 2004 Big Ten Conference home schedule includes dates with Michigan State, Ohio State, Purdue and Wisconsin.
