The University of Iowa men’s golf team finished 13th today at the 2004 Bruce Kepler Intercollegiate. The Hawkeyes shot a 305 today to give them a tournament total 918, their lowest three-round team total this season.
Jon Feldick placed 12th individually, his highest placing since finishing fourth in the Iowa Big Four meet in Ocotber. Feldick added a 73 today to finish with a 222. Luke Miller finished with a 234 in his first tournament of the spring, placing him tied for 67th. Todd Larson tied for 70th after shooting a 79 today. Seniors Cade Pleggenkuhle and Erik Feldick finished tied for 74th. Kent State’s Ryan Yip defeated Brad Heaven from Toledo in the playoff to take the individual championship.
The Hawkeyes compete next weekend at the First Energy Collegiate, hosted by the University of Akron.
