Hawkeyes Tied For Seventh After Day One

The University of Iowa men’s golf team is tied with Eastern Kentucky for seventh place after two rounds at the Bruce Fossum/Taylor Made Invitational. The Hawkeyes shot a 603 today.

The Hawkeyes were led by senior Cade Pleggenkuhle. Pleggenkuhle is currently in a tie for 13th after shooting a 148. Freshman Jon Feldick shot a 76-74=150 and is tied for 20th. Andy Tiedt knocked seven strokes off his first round score to move into a tie for 26th. Bennet Hammerberg is tied for 49th with a first day score of 155, and Todd Larson shot a 158 to put him in a tie for 61st.

Tee times for tomorrow’s final round begin at 8:30 a.m.
