“Iowa Football 2004,” a special one-hour in-depth look at Coach Kirk Ferentz’s nationally ranked 2004 University of Iowa football team produced and distributed by the UI Athletic Department, will air the evening of Sunday, Aug. 29, on select over-the-air television stations servicing Iowa and portions of surrounding states.

Get up close and personal with the Iowa Hawkeyes this Saturday. The team’s practice and scrimmage at historic Kinnick Stadium is open to the public. Enter Gate 3 at 9:30 a.m.; practice is scheduled to begin at approximately 10:20 a.m.

The television special will also be available on select Mediacom cable systems as well as other cable systems across the state during the following week and available in the multimedia section of hawkeyesports.com, the official world wide web site of the Iowa Hawkeyes powered by McLeodUSA. “Iowa Football 2004” will include a look at Iowa’s offensive and defensive units and its special teams. Hosted by Gary Dolphin and featuring Kirk Ferentz, the special will also include interviews with select student-athletes and will examine Iowa’s 2004 schedule.
