MEMPHIS, TN – – The University of Iowa men’s golf team is in 11th place after two rounds of the 16-team Memphis Intercollegiate held at the par-72 Colonial Country Club. The Hawkeyes carded a two round total of 608. Central Florida leads the tournament after posting a 36-hole score of 579.

Junior Brian deBuhr (Urbandale, IA) is tied for 40th after the first day of competition after firing a two round total of 151. Junior Andy Tiedt (Cedar Rapids, IA) is tied for 48th after stroking a 152. Sophomore Jon Feldick (Coralville, IA) is tied for 56th after carding a 154. Junior Luke Miller (West Des Moines, IA) is tied for 60th place (155), while sophomore Todd Larson (Marion, IA) is tied for 80th (159).

Each team has five competitors, with the top four scores counting towards the team’s total score each round. The final round concludes tomorrow.
