Kirk Talks Ohio State

Oct. 12, 2004

The Iowa football team has had a little more than a week to get healthy, ponder the first five weeks of the 2004 college football season, and prepare for the final six games of the campaign, starting with Saturday’s date against long-time Big Ten Conference nemesis Ohio State in Iowa City. Kirk Ferentz talked about all this and more Tuesday during his weekly visit with the area media.

Iowa’s game against the Buckeyes will likely be Iowa’s fourth sellout of the year. A handful of “singles” remain…contact the UI Athletic Ticket Office to get yours.

And – a reminder – this week’s game inside historic Kinnick Stadium kicks off shortly after 2:30 p.m. Iowa time and will be televised live to a regional audience by ABC. For the coverage map, click HERE.

Iowa’s game next week at Penn State will be televised live by ESPN2 beginning at 11 a.m. Iowa time. As always, fans of the Hawkeyes are encouraged to “turn down the sound” and listen to Gary, Ed and Rob-O on the Hawkeye Radio Network.
