Kirk Live Today as 12:30

Oct. 26, 2004

Kirk Ferentz meets the area media today and fans of the Iowa football program can watch it live. Coverage of the weekly event begins at 12:30 p.m. from the auditorium inside the Hayden Fry Football Complex.

The UI Athletic Department now provides live streaming video of all regularly scheduled media conferences via hawkeyesports.com, the official world wide web site of the Iowa Hawkeyes.

The Hawkeyes travel to Champaign, Ill., Saturday for an 11 a.m. (Iowa time) date with the Fighting Illini of Illinois. The game will be televised live by ESPN Plus.

Iowa’s Nov. 6 date against Purdue inside historic Kinnick Stadium will be televised live at 2:30 p.m. by ESPN. That start time has triggered an 11:30 a.m. tip for the annual Black and Gold Basketball Blowout presented by Mediacom.

Tickets to the Blowout cost just $5 and can be purchased in advance at the UI Athletic Ticket Office in Carver-Hawkeye Arena. The Iowa-Purdue football game is a sellout. A very limited number of “singles” are available.

Iowa’s Nov. 20 football game against Wisconsin is also a sellout – the sixth of the season for the Hawkeyes.
