Iowa Powers Past Panthers, 59-51

MILWAUKEE (AP)Johanna Solverson led the way with 23 points as 18th-ranked Iowa wiped out a five-point halftime deficit and beat Wisconsin-Milwaukee 59-51 Tuesday night.

The Hawkeyes (11-0) shot only 28.1 percent in the first half, which ended with the Panthers leading 30-25.

But the Hawkeyes made 53.3 percent after the break while holding the Panthers to 29.2 percent for the half and 30.4 percent for the game.

Jamie Cavey added 18 points and Crystal Smith had 13 for Iowa.

Aubrey Hampton scored 11 points and Teri Huff 10 to lead the Panthers (3-6).
