The UI Athletic Department has released the full schedules for the Iowa football team through 2007 and the Hawkeyes’ Big Ten Conference schedule for the 2008 season.
Iowa will play six home games in 2005, 2006 and 2007. The Hawkeyes will likely play seven home games in 2008, the next year where, under current NCAA rules, a 12th regular season game is permissible.
The Hawkeyes will not face Michigan State or Penn State in Big Ten action the next two years. Michigan and Ohio State will be absent from the Iowa schedule in 2007 and 2008.
Homecoming and Family Weekend games are to be determined for the 2007 and 2008 seasons. Vasrity Club Day games are also yet to be determined fort he 2006, 2007 and 2008 seasons.
