It’s been a three weeks since Kirk Ferentz last visited with the media inside the Hayden Fry Football Complex. The 2004 Big Ten Conference Coach of the Year will take his position behind the podium today at 12:30 p.m. and hawkeyesports.com will be there to provide live coverage.
Iowa will open its 2005 season Sept. 3 against Ball State inside historic Kinnick Stadium. That contest is one of six home games for the Hawkeyes.

hawkeyesports.com will also be on hand Saturday afternoon when Ferentz’s 2005 Hawkeyes break huddle for their last practice this spring. Fans of the Hawkeyes who are subscribers to the multimedia area of the official world wide web site of the Iowa Hawkeyes can expect to have access to a handful of interviews with UI coaches and/or student-athletes at approximately 4 p.m. Iowa time.
