Fans of the nationally ranked University of Iowa football team interested in purchasing three-game ticket packages for the 2005 season at historic Kinnick Stadium can now do so.
Three-game ticket packages offer fans of the Hawkeyes flexibility by allowing them to select one game from three different groups of two games. Fans will purchase a reserved seat that will be assigned after orders for 2005 general public, UI faculty and staff and UI student season tickets are filled and assigned seat locations.
The cost of a three-game package is $148 per ticket if the customer includes a request for tickets to Iowa’s Oct. 22 home game against Michigan in their package. The cost is $138 per ticket if the three-game package requested does not include a ticket to the Iowa-Michigan game.
The six home games of the defending Big Ten Conference and Capital One Bowl champions are grouped as follows for purposes of the three-game ticket package: Group A includes Iowa’s season opener Sept. 3 against Ball State and the Hawkeyes’ game Sept. 17 against intrastate rival Northern Iowa.
Group B includes Iowa’s 2005 Homecoming game against Illinois on Oct. 1 and the Hawkeyes’ game against Michigan. Group C includes Iowa’s Oct. 15 game versus Indiana and this year’s battle with Minnesota for Floyd of Rosedale on Nov. 19.
General public, UI faculty and staff, and UI student season tickets are still available. 2004 season ticket customers have until May 27 to renew their season ticket order and retain their seating priority.
Single-game tickets, if available, will go on sale to the general public in July.
Fans can purchase season tickets and three-game packages online at hawkeyesports.com, the official world wide web site of the Iowa Hawkeyes; over the telephone by calling 1-800 IA HAWKS; and in person at the UI Athletic Ticket Office located in Carver-Hawkeye Arena.
