The renovation of historic Kinnick Stadium plods on with progress being made on all fronts including the newest addition to the project list for the multi-million dollar project: Demolition and reconstruction of the parking lot immediately west of the stadium.
Phase 1 of that project began in earnest last week. hawkeyesports.com will provide a detailed summary of that piece of the renovation project next week, however, fans and friends of the Hawkeyes interested in seeing what the finished product would look like can click HERE.
The artist rendering provides detail of what the entire Kinnick Stadium site will look like from a birds-eye point of view when completed in September 2006. Included in that view is the new parking lot.
