Fans of the Iowa Hawkeyes have a chance to win a piece of Iowa football history, a pair of season tickets to the home games of Coach Kirk Ferentz’s 2006 squad or another great prize thanks to select Hardee’s restaurants across the state of Iowa.
Beginning Wednesday, Aug. 24, and for as long as supplies last, fans of the Hawkeyes visiting a participating Hardee’s restaurant will receive a scratch-to-win ticket. 140 of the cards produced for distribution at Hardee’s – paired with another 70,000 cards that will be distributed to fans attending the Iowa-Ball State college football game at historic Kinnick Stadium on Sept. 3 – will reward those 140 lucky fans with a authentic replica jersey worn by the Iowa Hawkeyes in the 2005 Capital One Bowl.
Season tickets to the 2006 home games of the Iowa Hawkeyes, pairs of tickets to the 2006 season opener for Kirk Ferentz’s squad, free and discounted food and drink items at participating Hardee’s restaurants and admission to a series of intercollegiate athletics events at the UI are also among the prizes to be won. Every scratch-to-win card is a winner.
A limited number of scratch-to-win cards are available for fans of the Hawkeyes who elect not to visit a participating Hardee’s or attend the Iowa-Ball State college football game. These scratch-to-win tickets will be available upon request at the UI Athletic Ticket Office beginning Monday, Sept. 5.
