In hawkeyesports.com’s second installment of the exclusive audio feature “The Brooks Brothers,” “Brother Bob” – Iowa Hall of Fame Sportscaster Bob Brooks who, as most fans of the Hawkeyes know, is actually the father of the other “Brooks Brother’, Rob – visits with UI quarterback Drew Tate.
Tate will take the field Saturday when Iowa opens the 2005 season at 11 a.m. against Ball State for the first time since etching his name and that of Warren Holloway’s in the Iowa football history books. Their pass and catch gave Iowa a last-second, last-play-of-the-game victory over LSU in the 2005 Capital One Bowl. Since that time, Tate’s stock has soared and the glare of the media lights has been bright.
Today’s installment of “The Brooks Brothers” is an exclusive feature of Hawkeye All-Access. Today’s installment is provided free to fans of the Hawkeyes as an opportunity to sample the audio and video available inside Hawkeye All-Access.
