The University of Iowa’s 2005 Homecoming game Saturday, Oct. 1, against Illinois inside historic Kinnick Stadium will be televised live by ESPN Plus. Kickoff is set for shortly after 11 a.m. Iowa time.

A complete list of the television stations and cable television systems that will broadcast the Iowa-Illinois game will be available at this time next week. The game will be available on a pay-per-view basis through ESPN’s “GamePlan” program.

Coach Kirk Ferentz’s nationally ranked Hawkeyes travel to Ohio State this Saturday to open their defense of their 2004 Big Ten Conference championship. That game will kickoff shortly after 11 a.m. Iowa time and will be televised live by ABC Sports to a regional audience.

Iowa defeated Ohio State, 33-7, last year in Iowa City and Illinois, 23-13, in Champaign, Ill. The Hawkeyes have won 20 straight games in Kinnick Stadium. That mark, which dates back to the 2002 season, is a school record.
