The Patch is more than just a collectible that celebrates the exciting renovation of historic Kinnick Stadium. It’s also a Hawk fan’s ticket to a long list of intercollegiate athletic events to be staged on the UI campus during the 2005-06 academic year.
All Patches are high-quality embroidered souvenirs that are numbered on their backside…and the number is important, too! One lucky fan of the Hawkeyes who has purchased a Patch will win a trip for two to the next post-season bowl game of the Iowa Hawkeyes if the number on the back of their Patch matches the number announced on hawkeyesports.com on Dec. 1, 2005.
This year’s Patch is available for just $15 at the UI Athletic Ticket Office and select Hy-Vee Food Stores and Drug Towns statewide. You can also purchase your Patch online by clicking HERE.
Here is a list of the 2005-06 UI intercollegiate athletics events that you can attend for free or at a discounted rate as an owner of a Patch. Simply present your Patch at the UI Athletic Ticket Office when making your purchase or upon entry at an official Patch event.
