MEMPHIS — The Iowa Men’s Golf team finished the first day of competition at the Memphis Intercollegiate in ninth place. They finished the first two rounds at the par 72 Colonial Country Club shooting +22 as a team and carding a two round score of 598.
Cole Peevler (+3, T13th) led Iowa individually finishing the day with a score of three-over-par which puts him in a tie for 13th place. Todd Larson (+5, T27th), Jon Feldick (+7, T36th), Andy Tiedt (+8, T41st) and Dan Holterhaus (+13, T62nd) also competed for the Hawkeyes.
Iowa will play the final round of the Memphis Intercollegiate tomorrow at 8 a.m.
