ESPN Will Meet Iowa in Chicago

ESPN will broadcast live Iowa’s next football game, a Nov. 5 date at nationally ranked Northwestern, the Big Ten Conference announced today. Game time is set for 11 a.m. in Evanston.

Iowa’s last 48 games have been televised live. UI officials expect all 11 regular season games of the 2005 Hawkeyes will be televised live.

Coach Kirk Ferentz’s squad is entering its bye week for the 2005 Big Ten season. The Hawkeyes’ game at Northtwestern is the first of back-to-back road games of Iowa against nationally ranked opponents. Iowa will square off against Wisconsin on Nov. 12 before returning to historic Kinnick Stadium for a Nov. 19 date with Minnesota.
