What was the most exciting thing you did over the summer?
“I spent long hours in the sun at the team pool parties hosted at Tiffany’s apartment. The most exciting part was watching Abby almost drown while trying to make her lawn chair float on the water with her in it.”

What did you learn while participating in the US Team Trials?
“I learned that some people in this country have never had a root beer float. I also learned how some of the best players in the country play, and what things I need to work on to improve my game.”

What aspect of your game do you feel improved the most from last year?
“I would like to think my mid-range jump shot and free throws have improved and are more consistent this year.”

Your favorite movie is Blue Crush… do you like to surf?
“I have never tried it, but I really want to learn. If I wasn’t here in Iowa playing basketball and enjoying the beauty of the corn fields, I would want to live on the North Shore of Hawaii and learn how to surf.”

Who’s the bigger eater, you or Coach Morgan?
“I think I could take him on a good day. We might have to have a contest to figure that one out.”

Do you have any pre-game rituals, and if so what are they?
“After the pre-game meal, I go home and take a shower. After that, I eat a pre-game snack and take a nap if there is time.”

Do you have any guilty pleasures?
“I don’t really ever feel guilty when I am doing something pleasurable. What’s the fun in doing it if you’re going to feel guilty about it?”

What are you looking forward to most about the San Francisco trip?
“I am really excited to drive across the Golden Gate Bridge while singing the Full House theme song. I also want to ride on a trolley and win the championship.”

If you were a superhero, what type of superpower would you want as your trademark?
“I would want the ability to control the rotation of the earth. With this superpower, I would slow down the rotation of the earth at night, so I could sleep longer and have the power to decide when it is morning.”
