The 2006 Outback Bowl Hawkeye Huddle staged by the National I-Club and the UI Alumni Association and presented by Mediacom, the exclusive home of the Iowa Football Replay Show, has been scheduled for Sunday, Jan. 1, at the Tampa Convention Center in Tampa.
Doors to the East Hall of the convention center will open at 5:30 p.m. Tampa time. The Tampa Convention Center is located at 333 South Franklin Street.
The 2006 Outback Bowl Hawkeye Huddle is a free event that features cash refreshments and concessions, special guest speakers, an appearance by the UI Marching Band, performances by the Iowa cheerleaders, dance team and Herky and the opportunity to do some post-Christmas, pre-bowl game shopping at the Official Iowa Hawk Shop.
