ST. GEORGE, UTAH — The University of Iowa women’s golf team finished in a tie for fourth in the 54-hole BYU Dixie Classic in St. George, Utah, Wednesday. The Hawkeyes carded a 948 (+84). The University of Las Vegas Nevada won the tournament with a 922 (+58).
Jill Marcum finished seventh, carding a 14 over par, 230. Karla Murra finished 19th, with a 21 over par, 237. Tyrette Metzendorf came in a tie for 23rd, shooting 239 (+23).
The Hawkeyes compete next at the Illini Spring Classic in Champaign, IL, on April 14-15.
