It’s never too early to plan your next vacation particularly when one of the options is to cruise the Caribbean with the coaching staff of the nationally ranked University of Iowa football team.
Hawkeye Cruise XXI will set sail from Ft. Lauderdale on Saturday, Feb. 17, and cruise to Grand Turk, Turks, Caicos Islands, Road Town and Tortola in the British Virgin Islands, Half Moon Cay in the Bahamas and St. Thomas in the U.S. Virgin Islands.
The seven-day cruise also includes five different events co-hosted by the UI Director of Athletics Gary Barta and UI Head Football Coach Kirk Ferentz. As in the past, Ferentz and his staff will conduct a “Football Seminar at Sea,” and Barta and UI Associate Director of Athletics Mark Jennings will provide an update on the intercollegiate athletics program at the UI.
