Fans of the nationally ranked University of Iowa football team interested in attending one or maybe two games of the Hawkeyes this fall, take note. Your window of opportunity is now open.
The UI Athletic Ticket Office began sales of single-game tickets to select home games of the nationally ranked 2006 University of Iowa football team today with current members of the National I-Club being provided the first opportunity to make purchases.
Members of the Kinnick Society and Champion Hawks may place their single-game ticket order today, Golden Hawks will have the opportunity on Wednesday, Silver Hawks on Thursday and all other levels of membership on Friday.
Next Monday, current season ticket customers who are not members of the National I-Club will be able to place a single-game ticket order. Single-game ticket sales will be open to the general public on Wednesday, July 19.
Single-game tickets can be purchased online at hawkeyesports.com, in-person at the UI Athletic Ticket Office in Carver-Hawkeye Arena, and by telephone by calling 1-800 IA-HAWKS.
UI Director of Ticket Operations David Sandstrum said Monday that Iowa’s games against Iowa State and Ohio State are sold out and that there will be no single-game tickets available for those events.
Fans of the Hawkeyes who are not contributors to the National I-Club and who don’t want to wait until next week to make their purchase, can buy their single-game game tickets paired with a game-day hospitality package beginning today through the UI’s group sales program.
These packages provide the customer a reserved seat single-game ticket to Iowa’s games against Purdue, Wisconsin, Northwestern, Northern Illinois or Montana and access to a general public tent inside Hawkeye Village, the UI’s game-day corporate hospitality area.
Group tickets and space inside Hawkeye Village is also available for the Purdue, Wisconsin, Northwestern, Northern Illinois and Montana games.
For more information about Hawkeye Village, fans can contact either the UI Sports Marketing Office at (319) 335-9431 or Bravo Sports Marketing at (319) 626-8286.
