Enthusiasm for Iowa football continues at a high level. It was announced today that student season tickets have been sold out for the second straight year. The sellout came two weeks earlier than last year’s announcement.
A total of 10,490 student season tickets have been sold to Iowa’s seven home games. The Hawkeyes open their season Sept. 2nd against Montana in Kinnick Stadium. The historic stadium, home to Iowa football since 1929, is nearing completion of an $88 million dollar facelift and renovation.
Approximately 300 tickets remain for the season opener against Montana. All other games are sold out. The Hawkeyes have played before 17 straight home sellouts and expect to add seven more games to that total this year.
Tickets can be purchased directly at the Iowa athletic ticket office or by calling 1-800-IA-HAWKS. You can also purchase tickets online at: hawkeyesports.com.
