Fans of the nationally ranked University of Iowa football team now have another option when it comes to enjoying the Hawkeyes’ most recent victory: The “Hawkeye Football Video Season Ticket.”
This “season ticket” will deliver to each fan of the Hawkeyes a DVD that includes the most recent edition of the “Iowa Football Replay Show” – the 60-minute “replay” of the Hawkeyes’ most recent game, the most recent installment of “Iowa Football with Kirk Ferentz” – the weekly television show of the UI’s head football coach – and video from the post-game press conferences involving Ferentz and select UI student-athletes.
Each DVD arrives in an attractive case designed to protect and display.
The “Hawkeye Football Video Season Ticket” costs $249 plus shipping and handling for the 12-game regular season. Fans can also purchase a specific game for $34.95 plus shipping and handling.
Subscribers will select their preference in terms of delivery, e.g. overnight, two-day express or U.S. Mail. A major credit card is required for purchase and that card will be billed in 12 weekly installments.
“We’re delighted to be offering this option to fans of the Hawkeyes. I can certainly see many electing to create their own video library,” said Rick Klatt, the UI’s associate athletics director for external affairs.
Klatt said it’s likely that additional content will be added to the collection provided on each DVD as the season progresses.
“We are going to explore every opportunity available to us to make this offering as compelling as possible for fans of the Hawkeyes,” said Klatt.
