SOUTH BEND, IN -- The University of Iowa women's golf team is in seventh place after playing 36-holes at the Lady Irish Invitational Saturday. Iowa carded 625, 13 behind the leader Notre Dame on Warren Golf Course in South Bend, IN.
Junior Jill Marcum (Clarinda, IA) leads the Hawkeyes at the Lady Irish Invite, with a seven over par, 151, and is tied for eighth after two rounds. Tyrette Metzendorf (Winter Haven, FL) is in 11th place, carding a 151 +8. Tied for 43rd is Karla Murra (Sioux Falls, SD) with a 163. Becky Quinby (Plymouth, MN) carded a 164.
The Lady Irish Invitational will conclude Sunday with a 9 a.m. shotgun start at Warren Golf Course in South Bend, IN.
