The Brooks Brothers Three Times

The Brooks Brothers Three Times

Oct. 6, 2006

IOWA CITY — A tripleheader helping of University of Iowa football is the latest addition to Hawkeye All-Access, the multi-media area of hawkesports.com.

Bob Brooks and his son, Rob, visit about tomorrow’s Homecoming game between Iowa and Purdue inside historic Kinnick Stadium in the first of three installments of The Brooks Brothers. Bob stars in the other two – the first a visit with UI runningback Shonn Greene and the second a meeting with UI Coach Kirk Ferentz about the 1981 season and Iowa football team that advanced to the Rose Bowl.

The 1956, 1958 and 1981 Iowa football teams that advanced to the respective Rose Bowl all are gathering this weekend for 50 and 25-year reunions. Those gathering include former UI coaches Forest Evashevski and Hayden Fry, both members of the College Football Hall of Fame, and members of their staffs.

Fans are also reminded that this week’s installments of “Iowa Football with Kirk Ferentz” – the weekly television show of Iowa’s head football coach – and the “Iowa Football Replay Show” are available inside the “Features” area of the “Football” page of Hawkeye All-Access.

And, tomorrow, this week’s installment of “The View from the Press Box” featuring Gary Dolphin, the radio voice of the Iowa Hawkyes, will be added to the content available inside Hawkeye All-Access.
