Collins and Travers Leave Iowa

A pair of red-shirt freshmen have decided to leave the University of Iowa football team. Defensive tackle Justin Collins and linebacker B.J. Travers have decided to transfer to another program.

“Justin and B.J. have determined that it’s in their best interest to leave the Iowa football program,” said Iowa Head Coach Kirk Ferentz. “We wish them well and success in the future.”

Collins was a 6-2, 250-pounder from Fort Worth, TX while Travers was a 6-1, 235-pounder from Westlake, O.
