Sunday, Feb. 18, has been designated “University of Iowa Community Day,” a special event designed to acknowledge and celebrate the support provided to the intercollegiate athletics program at the University of Iowa and, in particular, the support extended to the UI’s women’s basketball program under the direction of Lisa Bluder.
Bluder’s Bunch will entertain Big Ten Conference rival Penn State on Feb. 18. Tipoff is scheduled for 2 p.m. inside Carver-Hawkeye Arena.
Current UI faculty, staff and students are invited to attend this special event free of charge by presenting their current UI identification card at any entrance of Carver-Hawkeye Arena. There they will also be invited to register for the following prizes available exclusively to members of the University of Iowa community.
