IOWA CITY – Head Coach Lisa Bluder:
“It feels good to go out there and not just get the win but to execute well, get high percentage shots and to play together.”

“It was a real team effort on both the offensive side of the ball, as well as the defensive side of things.”

“I’m obviously proud of Niner (Lindsey Nyenhuis), she came in during the first half and provided a spark for us. We were down nine and right when we needed it she provided it for us.”

“I thought that Nicole (VanderPol) took advantage of her first start and I am really happy with her efforts in there as well.”

Sophomore Nicole VanderPol:
“It’s always a privilege to start.”

“Losing Megan (Skouby) was obviously a big shot to us, but it has given an opportunity for other people to go and step-up. I just tried to go in there and fill her shoes as much as I can.”

Sophomore Megan Skouby:
“It felt good to be able to go out and contribute to the team as much as I could.”

Sophomore Lindsey Nyenhuis:
“I’ve been working on my shot a lot during practice and it feels good to have it back.”
