IOWA CITY — One year ago Abdul Hodge was like Drew Tate, Marshall Yanda and a handful of other members of the 2007 University of Iowa football team who are busy today preparing for a shot at the “Next Level,” the National Football League. That opportunity will happen officially later this month when the league stages its annual draft and signs other talented football players to free agent contacts.
