IOWA CITY — Iowa men’s tennis Head Coach Steve Houghton has announced that Austen Kauss of Overland Park, KS, has signed a National Letter of Intent to attend the University of Iowa.
Kauss is a four-star recruit according to Tennis Recruiting.net. He is ranked No. 4 nationally in doubles and was ranked No. 2 in singles in the Missouri Valley section. As a high school senior, Kauss is an honor student with a 4.1 grade point average.
Kauss chose Iowa over Marquette and Santa Clara.
“Austen is a great addition to our team,” said Houghton. “I expect him to make an immediate contribution.”
