IOWA CITY – Friends of the University of Iowa and fans of the Iowa Hawkeyes are reminded that tomorrow, Friday, June 15, is the last day that the UI Athletic Ticket Office will accept orders for tickets to the Iowa football team’s game against Northern Illinois Sept. 1 in Chicago’s Soldier Field.

Orders for tickets the Hawkeyes’ 2007 season opener received by Friday at 5 p.m. Iowa time will be filled based on the customer’s ticket priority and will be located in the sections of Soldier Field that have been designated as “University of Iowa sections.”

To date, the UI has received orders for more than 29,000 tickets for the game, the first between two college football teams in Soldier Field since its renovation. More than 45,000 total tickets have been ordered by friends and fans of the Hawkeyes and the Huskies of Northern Illinois. Capacity of Soldier Field is 61,500.
