IOWA CITY — A limited number of single-game tickets for all University of Iowa football home games inside historic Kinnick Stadium, except the Hawkeyes’ date with Illinois, will go on sale Tuesday at the UI Athletics Ticket Office. The Iowa-Illinois game Oct. 13 is sold out.
To date, the UI has sold 46,256 season tickets to the general public, UI faculty and staff, and for premium seating inside the Paul W. Brechler Press Box. The UI sold 45,812 season tickets in these categories a year ago. As it has done for the past four seasons, the UI also expects to sell all 10,400 tickets available to UI students.
“We are delighted with the support we’ve received from our fans with respect to season tickets and will continue to work hard to fill a request for season tickets in the days leading up to our home opener,” said Gary Barta, the UI `s director of athletics.
Iowa will enter the 2007 season with a string of 24 consecutive sellouts of Kinnick Stadium.
