IOWA CITY — A total of 75 prizes, ranging from hotel rooms, official University of Iowa football gear and bowl game tickets, will be given away to fans tomorrow during the Hawkeye’s football game against Western Michigan.
It is the seventh year for the Fan Appreciation giveaways, coordinated by the UI Sports Marketing Department.
“It’s been said time and again that the University of Iowa has the greatest fans in the country,” said Toby Trail, director of marketing at the UI. “This is a way we can show a small token of our appreciation for those great Hawkeye fans.”
Prizes will be awarded by a random drawing of seat numbers during the game. A list of the winning seats will be recognized in the football recap article posted on hawkeyesports.com approximately an hour after the game.
