IOWA CITY, IA – Iowa Head Men’s Tennis Coach Steve Houghton announced today Will Vasos of Fort Collins, CO, has signed a National Letter of Intent to attend the University of Iowa.
Vasos, listed as a four-star recruit, is the 2007 Colorado 5A state high school singles champion. He is ranked third in the Inter-Mountain Region and 80th nationally in singles. Additionally, he is ranked sixth nationally in doubles. Vasos chose Iowa over North Carolina State, Michigan State, Boise State, Oregon and Marquette.
“We are very excited that Will chose The University of Iowa,” said Houghton. “He has an outstanding record and was heavily recruited. I expect him to have an immediate impact.”
