Soccer Announces Dates For Summer Camps

IOWA CITY, IA – The University of Iowa soccer program will hold two youth camps this summer, Head Coach Ron Rainey announced Friday. The camps are open to boys and girls ages 5-18 and will be instructed by current members of the coaching staff, as well as current and former Hawkeye players.

The two camps will be divided into four sessions:

? Session One: June 9-13 (9 a.m.-Noon)
? Session Two: June 9-13 (1-4 p.m.)
? Session Three: July 28-August 1 (9 a.m.-Noon)
? Session Four: July 28-August 1 (9 a.m.-3 p.m.)

The cost for the first three sessions is $130, and session four costs $200. Campers will be taught the technical skills of soccer with an emphasis on match-related activities and small sided games. Campers will be arranged in groups by both age and ability level. All campers will have the opportunity to train at one of the premier college soccer facilities in the Midwest.
