IOWA CITY, IA – Game times for two of the University of Iowa’s 2008 football games have been announced. The announcement came today following approval by the Big Ten Conference.
Iowa’s 2008 Homecoming contest with Northwestern on Sept. 27 and the Iowa-Michigan State game at East Lansing, Mich., on Oct. 4 will both begin at 11:05 a.m. (CDT). The games will be televised by ESPN, ESPN2 or the Big Ten Network. Selection by the television networks will take place either six or 12 days prior to the game.
Starting times for the remainder of Iowa’s 2008 schedule will be announced at a later date.
The Hawkeyes open the season with four of their first five games at home. The season opener, against Maine, is Aug. 30 in historic Kinnick Stadium.
