Iowa-Minnesota Football Game Time Set

IOWA CITY, IA – The University of Iowa football team’s final regular season game of the 2008 season, Nov. 22 at Minnesota, will kick off shortly after 6 p.m. (Iowa time), the Big Ten Conference announced today.

The annual battle for Floyd of Rosedale — the bronzed pig awarded annually to the winning team — will be televised by the Big Ten Network as part of its prime-time package.

The Hawkeyes have had 77 straight football games televised. The last game not on television was Iowa game against Minnesota during the 2001 season.

Iowa opens the 2008 sesaon with a home game Aug. 30 against in historic Kinnick Stadium. That game is one of seven home events for the Hawkeyes, a schedule that includes additional non-conference games against Florida International and intrastate rival Iowa State, and Big Ten opponents Northwestern, Wisconsin, Penn State and Purdue.
