IOWA CITY – Fans of the Iowa Hawkeyes looking for any easy way to know when something colored black and gold will appear on the Big Ten Network now have a resource: iowaonthebigtennetwork.com.
The new world wide web micro site includes a calendar of events featuring programming that is 100 percent University of Iowa – football games, soccer matches, women’s basketball games. It will also provide day, time and content descriptions for all University of Iowa campus programming.
And, when the UI knows something of significance has been scheduled for one of the many other pieces of regular programming on BTN – like the Friday Night Tailgate show that will originate from Iowa City on Friday, Sept. 12 – we’ll plug it into iowaonthebigtennetwork.com.
The site also includes links to hawkeyesports.com, the official world wide web site of the Iowa Hawkeyes; uiowa.edu, the official world wide web site of the University of Iowa; and bigtennetwork.com.
One recommendation: Check the site often. New content is added daily as the Big Ten Network updates its programming schedule and content like basketball schedules, wrestling schedules, baseball and softball schedules are finalized.
