The University of Iowa Department of Intercollegiate Athletics invites applications for the position of Compliance and Life Skills Assistant in the Office of Athletics Student Services.

Responsibilities: Assist the Director of Educational and Support Programs as assigned, coordinate all aspects of team travel related to compliance, assist with student-athlete certification, administration of Student-Athlete Year End Survey, produce executive summaries to assist with Graduation Success Rate and assist the Associate Director for Student Services and Compliance as assigned.

Required qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience; some (6 months – 1 year) experience in working in Division I compliance and Student-Athlete Services programming; excellent written and verbal communication skills; must be proficient in computer software applications.

Preferred qualifications: Master’s degree; experience with CAi and LSDBi; demonstrated knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations. Preference will be given to the candidates that can best meet the development needs of the Athletics Student Services and Compliance program.
