IOWA CITY, Iowa — The University of Iowa football team surpassed the half-way point of spring drills, completing its eighth of 15 practices Sunday afternoon inside the Bubble. The Hawkeyes participated in an 80-plus play live scrimmage.

The final day of spring practice is Saturday, April 18, and Iowa’s season-opener will be Saturday, Sept. 5, against Northern Iowa.
