Spring Q&A: Iowa's Kirk Ferentz

Those are hallmarks of a University of Iowa football program that is coming off a 9-4 season and the Big Ten Conference’s only victory in a bowl game. Adam Rittenberg of ESPN.com sat down with UI head coach Kirk Ferentz for a question-and-answer segment that was posted on Wednesday, April 15.

Ferentz said the Hawkeyes are a more experienced team at this point than they were a year ago, but replacing the production and leadership of players like Mitch King, Matt Kroul, Rob Bruggeman, Seth Olsen and Shonn Greene will be a challenge.
