IOWA CITY, IA – – University of Iowa student athletes are out to show that they can make a difference by serving. Over 200 Hawkeye men and women’s athletes are expected to participate in the 11th annual Hawkeye Day of Caring, Sunday from 9 a.m. til 12:30 pm.

Student-athletes will contribute their time in activities at some of the following sites around the Iowa City area; Hope Lodge, Broadway Neighborhood Center, River Run, Creek Clean Up, Windmill Manor and Scattergood Farm.

Hawkeye Day of Caring is a program of the Iowa Student Athlete Advisory Committee (ISAAC), whose goal is to encourage community service among its teams and individuals. The group has successfully undertaken Day of Caring activities the last ten years.
